I tragici avvenimenti giapponesi hanno fatto riemergere, vivo e pressante, lo stato d'animo che nella primavera del 2009 mi dettò questi versi:

Marzo 2011, una splendida giornata di sole: l'aria è tiepida, tersa e serena.
Nel mio mattiniero peregrinare, mi incammino lungo Villa Bonanno
ombreggiata dalle sue palme centenarie.

La piantina esposta al pubblico (unitamente alle due sotto)
all'ingresso dell'area archeologica ne illustra il posizionamento
all'interno di Villa Bonanno.




Qualcosa, oltre una rugginosa cancellata, attira la mia attenzione:

le cui pareti erano ornate di mirabili mosaici asportati all'atto
del rinvenimento di inizio secolo (XX) ed esposti nel Museo
Archeologico Regionale "A. Salinas" di Palermo.
Nell'attesa di fare una capatina al museo di Via Bara all'Olivella 24,
raccolgo da quei cartelli vetrati virtuali immagini con la mia
compatta "Sony" per ammirarle nei particolari evidenziati dalla
luminescenza del mio fedele computer.
Un solerte custode mi rende partecipe della datazione dell'apparato
musivo: risalente ai primi decenni del III Sec. d.c., in età severiana.
