E' già in corso di realizzazione il "tombotto" ovvero la vasca con idrovore che dovrà sollevare dai problemi di allagamenti via Marmolada, Manzoni e Matteotti e relative laterali.
Tale opera (assieme al nuovo magazzino comunale e sede Protezione Civile) è stata finanziata dalla perequazione edilizia derivata dallo "Sportello Unico" della ditta Arredo3, che ha consentito all'azienda di ampliarsi ed al Comune di ottenere opere pubbliche per 1.200.000 euro.
in tutto il territorio di Rio san Martino e Cappella sono state realizzate decine di golene che in caso di piena potranno immagazzinare enormi quantità di acqua, evitando cosi lo straripamento del fiume.

Per la ristrutturazione completa di Villa Orsini siamo in attesa di finanziamenti sovracomunali ed europei per la richiesta dei quali si sono già da tempo attivati gli uffici.
Per il momento sono stati fatti piccoli lavori di manutenzione ed è stata sostituita la caldaia dell'impianto di riscaldamento.
Le future opere interesseranno anche la piccola cappella situata dietro lo stabile principale.
